Starboy’s Wizkid is about to sign a similar deal with Sony Music Worldwide as he continues his international rise.A highly placed source confirms that ‘Wizkid’s new deal with Sony is a done deal, stating further that the news should be out couple of days’.
The source also confirmed that when the news is made official, ‘Wizkid is going to be in the same building as Davido at Sony Music’s New York office’.
In January 2016, Davido became the first African musician to sign a record deal with Sony Music Worldwide at their New York office.
